Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (10 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Shells

  • 1 1/2 cups prepared chocolate pudding

  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme

Directions

  1. Prepare the pastry shells according to the package directions.

  2. Spoon 1/4 cup pudding into each pastry shell.  Spoon the marshmallow creme into a resealable plastic bag.  Cut off one corner of the bag.  Pipe 1/4 cup marshmallow creme onto each pastry shell to cover the pudding.

  3. Heat the broiler.  Place the filled pastries onto a baking sheet.  Broil 4 inches from the heat for 1 minute or until the marshmallow creme is lightly browned.

  4. Tip: You can substitute 1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows for the marshmallow creme.  In Step 2, place 1/4 cup marshmallows into each pastry shell.  Proceed as directed above.

Tip

Place Puff Pastry shells on ungreased baking sheets with “top” facing up. Place pastry shells about 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

To ensure that Puff Pastry shells will rise evenly, score the sides horizontally with a small knife.

Unfilled baked Puff Pastry shells may be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Always bake Puff Pastry shells in a preheated 425°F oven. Do not bake shells in a microwave or a toaster oven.
